Meet the new Rocky Creek Assistant Principal

Brandon M. Winchester

Winchester comes to Lexington District One from Anderson County School District 2.

Since 2017, he has served as Jobs for America’s Graduates career specialist and summer school coordinator. He won South Carolina JAG Outstanding Specialist in 2018.

Winchester began his teaching career as an art and video productions teacher at Greenwood High School. He moved to Saluda Middle School in 2011, where he served as art and English language arts teacher, and coached track and cross country. 

In 2014, he joined Brewer Middle School in Greenwood to serve as advanced fine arts and ELA teacher.

Winchester received a Bachelor of Science in visual arts with K–12 certification from Lander University, a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University, and an Education Specialist degree in school administration from Clemson University.

A member of Palmetto State Teachers Association, he holds certifications in visual arts K–12, middle level ELA G5–8, and Tier 1 elementary principal. He also earned Read to Succeed Literacy endorsement.

We’re very excited to welcome Mr. Winchester to our RCE family and look forward to a great 2019-2020 school year.
