Rocky Creek will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart from February 12th – 23rd.
Students will bring home collection envelopes and a flyer beginning February 5th. Visit heart.org/jump to register and donate online.
We hope students participate in this event, raise money for the American Heart Association, and learn the importance of heart health.
Parents are strongly encouraged to donate online rather than bringing cash or checks to school.
On February 6th, 7th, and 8th, Rocky Creek will be hosting Pastries with People We Love from 7 am until 7:30 am. We hope you RSVPed and can join us!

Registration for rising 4K and 5K students will begin on January 29th. In order to register your rising 4K or 5K student, you will need to bring the following:
– Student’s Birth Certificate
– Proof of Immunization
– Driver’s License
– Proof of Residency (Water or Electric Bill) – If you do not have a water or electric bill in your name, please contact Lexington One Central Services at 821-1000.
You may register your student Monday – Friday, from 7:30 – 3:30, in the RCES front office.
February 1st – We will have extended registration hours on Thursday, February 1st. Registration hours will be from 7:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. on February 1st.

We will continue to build our culture of kindness at Rock Creek by celebrating Kindness Week this week. We will have dress-up themes for each day of the week. The dress-up themes for Kindness Week are as follows:
Monday – Kindness Makes Dreams Come True (Wear Pajamas)
Tuesday – Cowboy Up with Kindness (Western Attire)
Wednesday – Color the World with Kindness (Each Grade Wears Same Color) K: Red 1st: Blue 2nd: Yellow 3rd: Green 4th: Orange 5th: Black
Thursday – Stay Kind Through the Years (Dress like your favorite decade- 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, etc.)
Friday – Kindness Rocks My Socks (Wear Crazy Socks)
